Kendriya Vidyalaya Baikunthpur SECL was established (1979) to provide schools for the children of SECL personnel working in this area, permanent population and people living in this area, Defense and Para Military This has been done to meet the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including forces personnel by providing them education under a uniform curriculum of education.
